The Staten Island Children's Museum Announces its Summer Line-Up for FREE Summer Evening Dance Series, 7/2-8/27

Every Wednesday from July 2 to August 27 is a Boogie Woogie Wednesday! Sponsored in part by Staten Island Academy, the Museum re-opens for free beginning at 5 p.m., offers a free snack at 6, and the dancing begins at 7. After a few minutes of instruction, everyone is invited to get up and boogie!

Families are encouraged to pack a picnic dinner, and dine under the tent on the Meadow-what a wonderful way to tuck some quality family time into your family's busy schedule!

July is International Month, and features cultural dance from all over the globe; August is American Month, with artists presenting traditional American dancing.

Make every Wednesday this summer a Boogie Woogie Wednesday!

The Staten Island Children's Museum is located on the grounds of Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Gardens, 1000 Richmond Terrace, Staten Island, NY 10301. The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday, noon to 5 pm during the school year; 10 am to 5 pm weekends, summers and most public school holidays. The Staten Island Children's Museum is housed in a building owned by the City of New York and its operation is made possible, in part, with public funds provided through the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs with support from the Staten Island delegation to the NYC Council and the Staten Island Borough President. Significant operating support is also provided by the NYS Council on the Arts, Corporations, Foundations, the Trustees and Members.
