The El-Salomons Announce Union Hall Stand Up Show ImageOn the tail of their sold out Just For Laughs run in Montreal this past summer, New York based comedians and married couple Eman El-Husseini (SiriusXM, Comedy Network, NY Times) & Jess Salomon (StandUP NBC finalist, SiriusXM, CBC) announce their upcoming live show at Union Hall featuring host Fareeha Khan (MTV Decoded).

Jess Salomon and Eman El-Husseini are defying the odds: one is Jewish, one is Palestinian and they're married to each other and perform stand up together. Known for their love, their comedy and their ability to make really fantastic life decisions, The El-Salomons are excited to showcase all of these talents for one night only in Brooklyn: the place where they got engaged and now call home. Their live show at Union Hall invites the audience to watch a combination of killer solo stand up and joint banter with a high probability of arguing as these two don't shy away from fighting -- especially in front of a crowd. The couple's unique & clever routine covers sex, religion and politics... every dinner table taboo.

WHEN: Wednesday, October 24th at 8pm; doors at 7:30pm
WHERE: Union Hall - 702 Union St., Brooklyn, NY 11215
TICKETS: $10 general admission - available here for purchase through Ticketfly

The El-Salomons are comedy veterans and have performed at major NYC, LA and Canadian venues including Gotham Comedy Club, Caroline's, New York Comedy Club, UCB, Union Hall, Littlefield & The Bell House. Tablet Mag describes their performances as "two married comics [who] fuck with each other on stage, spreading love all over the place in the process." Eman has performed at countless comedy festivals including: New York Arab American Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest and Charleston Comedy Festival. Her writing has been featured on The Montreal Gazette and Cult MTL. Similarly, Jess has performed in a myriad of festivals such as: Boston Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull Festival and is set to record her debut album at the NY Comedy Festival this November. In addition to performing stand up comedy, the duo creates original cartoons, illustrated by Jesse Brown, which offer a view into the hilarious interactions they have with each other and with the world around them.
