Charles Dickens' holiday classic comes to life on the Annoyance stage Thursday nights at 9:00PM. "The Annoyance Theatre Presents, A Christmas Carol" was constructed by the cast under the direction of Anthony Oberbeck by dissecting several scripts and paring down the story to a fast and funny one-act play.
While the show remains faithful to the original, Oberbeck assures that the cast of comedians "Bring their own unhinged energy to the performances." The result is a show that is both a loving tribute grounded in a heartfelt performance of Ebenezer Scrooge's transformation, and also a manic, hilarious, off-the-walls reimagining.
"The Annoyance Presents, A Christmas Carol" opens Thursday December 15 at 9:00PM and will run on Thursdays at 9:00PM through December 29. Tickets are $10.
