PERSISTICON is the passion project of Diana Kane English, Lynn Harris, Leslie King, and Theo Kogan. It is here to take action, build community, make impact, and have fun. Persisticon's inaugural event will support EMILY's List and thus help elect feminists. Future events will raise money/a ruckus for other key progressive causes. On creating the project, Kane English says, "People keep asking me what they can do, where to put their energy. I've told them to take the things that give them life, the things they're good at and enjoy, and employ them in the causes that speak to them. Persisticon is me taking my own advice."
