National Sawdust has released a statement regarding rescheduled Shows in March due to the Covid-19 outbreak:
National Sawdust remains open for business while actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation to keep our staff, artists and audiences safe. We are actively implementing recommendations by the New York City Department of Health and have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting chairs, tables and all high-usage points of contact at the venue. As of March 11, National Sawdust is postponing the following shows to later dates TBA shortly:
Our Thursday, March 19 show with Kinds of Kings has been rescheduled to Wednesday, May 20.
Additionally, due to the recent cancellation of Big Ears 2020, Daniel Pioro and Valgeir Sigurðsson will not be traveling to the US and, as such, we must regretfully cancel their concert previously scheduled for Sunday, March 29. All previously purchased tickets for these performances will be valid for their TBA rescheduled date. Alternately, your ticket may be exchanged for another currently available show, converted into a tax-deductible, charitable contribution to National Sawdust, or credited to a National Sawdust membership.
Ticket buyers can make those arrangements online by clicking on this link or may feel free to contact our box office directly: boxoffice@nationalsawdust.org or 646-779-8455.
As of this writing, most of the previously confirmed shows on our calendar - including our nearly sold-out shows with Rosehardt on March 12, Anna Meredith on March 20, The Hum with Kimbra on March 21 and Dan Weiss and Miles Okazaki on March 25 - will take place as scheduled.
