Molloy College Irish Studies Institute presents a Wogan Family Lecture: "Breathing of Our Ancestors' Sapce and Time", presented by Charles R. Hale, Artists Without Walls, on March 30, 2014 at 3 p.m. in the Reception Room, Kellenberg Hall, Molloy College. Free and open to the public.
This program will focus on videos done by the presenter and talk about the importance of taking the time to find your family story before all those who remember it are lost. A simple question asked, Where is your baby sister buried?
A question about a baby who lived seven hours and died almost ninety years ago sent Charles Hale on a journey of self-reflection and discovery. He began to ask of his family and ancestors, "Who were these people? How did events in their lives help shape who I've become?" The answers revealed themselves as Charles began breathing from their space and time.
