IT'S A WONDERFUL EVERYTHING Comes to Brooklyn Comedy Collective Image

Enjoy It's a Wonderful Everything! at Brooklyn Comedy Collective on Friday, August 10th at 11:00 pm. Comedy duo Kelly Cooper & Thomas Fricilone bring their characters Cooper & Fritz to the stage for a night of 1950's-style sketch comedy that will have you telling your friends, "My God, That was a scream! I'm screaming. Help me. There was a lot of screaming."

Directed by Philip Markle, this hour of sketches, songs, and dance will bring you back to a simpler time when America had the exact same problems, except everyone ignored them, smiled and said, "It's a Wonderful Everything!" You'll see a husband and wife slowly lose their minds, a private investigator that can't keep his multiple personalities at bay, trouble inside a Cold War bunker, and (brace yourself) a woman with a man's name!

The partnership of Cooper & Fritz started back at the Annoyance Theatre NY where they co-wrote the plays Mandatory Seminar and The Siblings. Later, they founded the ever-stranger comedy channel and newsletter Ground Floor Comedy where they honed their craft of awkward and absurd comedy. Director Philip Markle is the current Brooklyn Comedy Collective theatre director and has worked with Cooper & Fritz since he was the managing director at the Annoyance.

The Brooklyn Comedy Collective was created in 2018 by Philip Markle and Annie Donley to produce theater that fosters and encourages risk-taking from a diversity of voices and inspires students to approach performance from a place of joy and fierceness.
