Gallery Players will announce their 50th Anniversary Season with a party and fundraiser on Saturday, May 21st. 50 years is a milestone event for any organization, but virtually unheard of for a theatre. The 2016/2017 Season will mark Brooklyn's Gallery Players' 50th year of producing quality, affordable theater for the community and surrounding boroughs. Artistic Director, Mark Harborth notes, "Gallery continues to improve the quality of its productions, and grow its programs to offer more to the community. This season alone has seen the addition of new acting and performance classes, a surge in our Family Programming, and has concluded with our sold out run of In the Heights. Not a bad place to start our next half-century!"
To celebrate this monumental event, Gallery is holding a Season Announcement Party and Penny Social Fundraiser hosted by Roger Gonzales of LocalTheatreNY.com. Guests will be the first to hear what Gallery has planned for the stage next season, and will be treated to light refreshments and live entertainment throughout the evening, featuring some of Gallery's noteworthy alumni, along with the opportunity to win over 35 raffle prizes including Disney Park Hopper Passes, Coor's Beach Cruiser Bike, theatre and concert tickets, autographed memorabilia, winery tours, gift certificates and more.
