This Halloween weekend, join Boroughs of the Dead for a jaunt through Brooklyn's haunted past with "Haunted Brooklyn Heights," a two-hour walking tour that combines history, folklore, ghost stories, true crime, and more! Now in it's fourth year, this tour is a local favorite.

Stroll among the graceful old homes of one of Brooklyn's oldest neighborhoods... but don't let their sedate charms fool you. Nestled within these dwellings are a wealth of gory, ghastly, haunted, and gruesome tales. See horror master H.P. Lovecraft's former home, visit the site of a "ghost-haunted" fort, discover the "Gate to Hell," and hear tales guaranteed to deliver a delightful frisson of fear!

All of our stories are drawn from authentic histories of the borough, and include macabre tales, literary and movie locations, crime, scandal, hoaxes, long-buried bones, urban legends, and forgotten histories. Suitable for families and children age ten and up.
