Comedian and easy cry, Chet Siegel (Search Party, Alternatino, Uncle Peckerhead, and UCB regular), was dumped twice by her ex-fiance during season one of the pandemic, and now you're all cordially invited to the funeral for her canceled wedding at Union Hall on October 28th, 2023, at 5PM.
Throughout this 80-minute multi-media comedic solo show/ immersive nervous breakdown, Chet grieves her broken engagement and tries to figure out if she can get over this or anything actually.
My Dead Wedding - A Funeral for My Wedding was developed as part of the 2022-2023 CAMP Artistic Residency and debuted at Ars Nova in May to a sold out audience. The wholly original show is directed by Emily Olcott and produced by Sean Weiner.

Chet Siegel (she/her) is an actress, comedian, writer, and cook. Performing credits include - TV: Alternatino (Comedy Central), Search Party (HBO), Chicago Med (NBC); Film: Uncle Peckerhead, The Sound of Silence (2019 Sundance Official Selection); Voiceover & Animation: Blackheads (2020 SXSW Official Selection), Nevada (2018 Sundance Official Selection); Web: UCB Comedy, Above Average, IFC's Comedy Crib. Theatre: Mint Theater, Ensemble Studio Theater, The Rattlestick.
She has performed, taught, and directed improv & sketch comedy at UCB, Magnet Theater, and theaters all over the world. She ran The Magnet Theater's sketch comedy program from 2014 - 2016 & has designed and facilitated improv & writing workshops for corporate, non-profit, and educational groups throughout NYC.
