The Bushwick Starr is thrilled to again be offering this annual day of free programming in Maria Hernandez Park, located just a half a block from our theater. This special one-day-only event brings art and performance out into the open air for a free community festival, open to the public.

Ghetto Hors D'oeuvres: Climate is the next in a series of poetic theatrical performances by Oye Group that paints an ode to Climate Justice in New York City. A FREE event for the community of Bushwick, Brooklyn with food, activities, games for kids & adults, live music and DJs. An eclectic group of Brooklyn artists, both native and immigrant, decipher the block and break down the rock that is the foundation of Brooklyn.
