The Brooklyn Museum will present a variety of programs for adults, teens, and kids in March. Public programs include talks, performances, and hands-on workshops for children and adults that amplify the Museum's exhibitions and Permanent Collection, serve its diverse public, and support learning through the visual arts.
Highlights include an artist talk with Laurie Simmons and Carroll Dunham on Marilyn Minter; a special program in honor of Pamela Joyner with artists Simone Leigh, Hugo McCloud, Julie Mehretu, and Jack Whitten; a comedy marathon hosted by Erica Watson; and a conversation on the artist's persona.

Jenny Blessing, Senior Curator of Photography at the Guggenheim, joins art historians to examine the phenomenon of the artist's persona, highlighting figures such as Georgia O'Keeffe, Frida Kahlo, Claude Cahun, and Andy Warhol, among many others.
