On Stage at Kingsborough, a leading performing arts presenter located at Brooklyn's Kingsborough Community College is pleased to announce its 2017-2018 season, featuring world class artists from around the globe. On Stage at Kingsborough brings top notch performing arts to Southern Brooklyn with an eclectic roster of artists spanning multiple genres including cabaret, dance, music, and family programming. The full season runs through May 19, 2018.
On Saturday, March 3, join Tony Nominee Jarrod Spector for his brand-new show "Jukebox Life," which takes the audience on Jarrod's journey to the bright lights of Broadway. Backed by the sounds of a red-hot seven-piece band and intertwined with videos from throughout his career, Spector will wow with his gorgeous pipes, which the audience may recognize from his roles as "Frankie Valli" in Jersey Boys and "Barry Mann" in Beautiful.
Long before his 1,500 "Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You's" and 900 "We Gotta Get Outta This Place's," and even before becoming Junior Champion on Ed McMahon's Star Search at age six, music underscored the story of Jarrod's often humbling journey to the bright lights of Broadway.
A veteran to the stage, Spector earned a Tony Award nomination for his portrayal of Barry Mann in "Beautiful: The Carole King Musical". He starred as Frankie Valli in "Jersey Boys" for a record 1500 performances.

We strive to create an environment where the arts are an accessible and integral part of life, and the Arts Center is a community gathering place for interaction and inspiration. We present world class dance, cabaret, theatre, music, and family performances in the Leon M. Goldstein Performing Arts Center and Kingsborough Community College's Lighthouse from October to May, and our Hot Summer Nights! free outdoor concert series at Kingsborough Community College's bandshell every July. Our school-time shows welcome classes from local public and private schools, a majority of which serves economically-disadvantaged or special needs populations. The 2017-2018 season reflects our commitment to present world-class artists in exclusive Brooklyn engagements.
