Bash Entertainment/Guerilla Theatre Lab in Association with Akia Squitieri Presents The World Premiere of THE HOUSE Image

Founding Creative Director Elizabeth Haag is pleased to announce that The House will be the first production of Guerrilla Theater Lab and Bash Entertainment. The event will consist of a 90-minute immersive theatrical performance, preceded by a 60-minute optional happy hour with musical entertainment. The House is a one-night, Immersive Theatrical Event, to be held on May 19th, 2018, in Park Slope Brooklyn at the historic Montauk Club.

The production is inspired by the Rural Trilogy by Spanish playwright Federico García Lorca. Over the course of the 2-hour production, the audience will be invited to explore the house, where all stories intertwine with the life of Lorca himself, primarily through movement, dance, music, improv and minimal dialogue. One story, leading up to a wedding, the other in the aftermath of a funeral, as the playwright looks on, unable to save his characters and ultimately unable to save himself.

Experientially, the audience will be free to discover characters going through both the dramatic, and mundane, parts of their evenings within the house. The exquisite interior of The Montauk Club will act as the set for the production, playing as much a role as the actors.

The House features an ensemble cast that includes: Monica Blaze Leavitt, Emily Newhouse, Gabriel Torres, Sara Fellini,
Lee Hubilla, Gretchen Poole, Cordelia Marie Larsen & Trisden Milburn

The House's Creative & Production team include Assistant Direction/Stage Management by Anthony Logan Cole, Assistant Stage Management By Karl Custer, Choreography by Gabriela Burdsall, Movement by William Ruiz-Morales, Lighting Design by Karl Chmielewski & Original Score by Ian Turner
