'Bad' Films Are Just $5 This Weekend In Brooklyn

"There will be technical difficulties" at the 6th annual Bad Film Fest at Cloud City Brooklyn, Friday - Sunday, June 8, 9 and 10

New York, NY (June 5, 2018) - Bad Film Fest screens odd, bizarre, interesting and hilarious short films at Cloud City, 85 N 1st St (between Berry and Wythe Avenues), Brooklyn, New York - 7pm and 9pm Friday and Saturday June 8 and 9. Bad Film Fest is a celebration of trashy, low-budget, no-budget independent film. The short films curated by over 20 judges include animation, sci-fi, horror, experimental, documentary and even dance.

Highlights from this year's schedule include: Territory! - a music video by a cat rock band for cat lovers, From Pong to Doom - an animated ode to classic video games and Things You Can Do With Your Oscar - a spoof, educational film for the talented and beautiful. This year's Bad Film Fest received over 420 submissions and accepted short films from across North America, as well as films from The UK, Spain, Malaysia, Costa Rica, Italy, Israel, France, Serbia, Australia and Germany.

Created in 2012, Bad Theater Fest and Bad Film Fest are committed to creating unique performance opportunities for artists in New York City and beyond. At the conclusion of Bad Film Fest, the organization will take submissions for the next Bad Theater Fest to will take place in New York City this autumn.
