Brooklyn Bridge Park (BBP) and Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy are offering a wide variety of free and low-cost summer programming at Brooklyn Bridge Park that includes movie screenings, music concerts, dance parties, and more! Events include:
-the Conservancy's popular series, Movies With A View Presented by Pluto TV – now in its 24th season! – which shows free outdoor movies on Thursday evenings through August 29 at Pier 1 Harbor View Lawn. Each evening, the lawn opens at 5:00 PM on a first-come, first-serve basis, and the movie begins at sunset. Attendees can enjoy a range of concessions and beverages for sale on-site.
-Sounds at Sunset, a series of free concerts taking place on Friday evenings across the summer season at locations across the Park.
-the Conservancy's new Lazy Daze series, which features an opportunity to relax, lay out, and enjoy chill Sunday afternoons (4:00 - 9:00 PM) at Pier 6 Liberty Lawn, while a rotation of DJs are featured in the background. Food and drink available for sale by Fornino.
-various programs for all ages, such as Mark Morris Dance Group (Saturday, August 3 from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM), Close-Up: Film Screening (Saturday, August 3 from 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM), Celebrate World Steelpan Day (Saturday, August 10 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM), Hindu Lamp Ceremony (Saturday, August 10 from 3:00 PM - 7:30 PM), Open Studios: Fogo Azul (Sunday, August 11 from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM), and Big Summer Chop & Vibes (Thursday, August 17 from 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM).

Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy's beloved free outdoor film series, Movies With A View Presented by Pluto TV, continues through August 29 at Pier 1 Harbor View Lawn. Titles include: August 1: Creed (PG-13, 2015, 133 minutes); August 8: But I'm A Cheerleader (R, 1999, 85 minutes); August 15: Bram Stroker's Dracula (R, 1992, 128 minutes); August 22: The American President (PG-13, 1995, 114 minutes); and August: 29: Public Choice vote of Spy Kids (PG, 2001, 88 minutes), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (PG, 2023, 99 minutes), or School of Rock (PG-13, 2003, 108 minutes).
Each evening, the lawn and food and beverage vendors open at 5:00 PM – attendees are encouraged to arrive early to catch a great spot on the lawn and enjoy the sunset. Movie starts at sunset. Free, first come first serve, no RSVP.
FRIDAY, AUGUST 2

The Sounds at Sunset concert series is a series of free music concerts that take place on Fridays across the summer season at locations across the Park.
On Friday, August 2, Anderson devotees can hear songs, samples, and collaborations across Paak's growing body of work (pre-Oxnard) with this DJ set and drum clinic, hosted by drummer and producer George “Spanky” McCurdy.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 3

Presented by Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, Mark Morris Dance Group (MMDG) returns to Brooklyn Park Bridge for a special, outdoor performance and an all-ages family-friendly workshop at Pier 1 Harbor View Lawn.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 3
7:30 PM - 10:00 PM
On the occasion of Huma Bhabha: Before the End, Public Art Fund, in collaboration with Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy, will host a screening of Close-Up, a cinematic masterpiece directed by revered Iranian filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami. Selected by Bhabha for its unconventional beauty and compelling power, Close-Up is widely considered Kiarostami's most brilliant and radical work. Held at Pier 3 Central Lawn, the entry opens at 7:30 PM, movie begins at sundown.

Celebrate and experience the sounds and tastes of Caribbean culture! Attendees can listen and dance to the sounds of steel pan bands in competition. The Carlos Lezama Archives and Caribbean Cultural Center (CLACC-C) will host performances, workshops, and activities in partnership with Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy at Pier 1 Harbor View Lawn

Join Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy at their 12th annual Hindu Lamp Ceremony at Brooklyn Bridge Park. Dance artist and educator Aeilushi Mistry brings peace and harmony to the community as she performs the traditional Hindu Aarti ceremony at Brooklyn Bridge Park's Pebble Beach.

NYC-based all-women, trans, and non-binary Brazilian Samba Reggae drum line Fogo Azul share live music and a workshop. They return to Brooklyn Bridge Park for an Open Studios performance, in partnership with Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy.

These after-work sunset socials are made for New Yorkers looking for new connections and out-of-the-ordinary experiences. Get down while it goes down, find new friends, and celebrate the magic of summer in New York City. Each evening, enjoy concessions from Bar by Fornino. RSVP for updates and post-event photo links.
Set against the backdrop of the iconic city skyline and the twinkle of the Brooklyn Bridge, young New Yorkers and Brooklynites from all over are welcome to get shored up at the shoreline.

Get your dance moves ready for all-ages Big Summer Chop & Vibes, hosted by African Chop House in partnership with Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy.
In West Africa, a chop bar is a roadside bar/restaurant that serves as a meeting place for the community. It brings people together through food and music to exchange information and ideas, and connect with one another. African Chop House was inspired by the sounds, smells, and visuals that surrounded those growing up in an African home. “Come Chop” is a pidgin expression inviting friends and family to come eat.
Join for diaspora sounds and delicious food selections curated by African Chop House at Pier 3 Plaza and Central Lawn. This event is free, although RSVP is required. This event is subject to change to weather or other extenuating circumstances.

NYC's longest-running reggae day party arrives in Brooklyn! Join host Ma Cherie & DJ Jam Central for an afternoon of Studio One, Lovers Rock, and dancehall at Pier 6 Liberty Lawn.
