Ninety handpicked exhibitors for the American Fine Craft Show Brooklyn, November 21-22, 2015, at Brooklyn Museum will again fill the regal Beaux-Arts Court with ceramics, decorative and wearable fiber and leather, furniture, glass and jewelry-all made by hand and celebrating American creativity-Richard Rothbard, show co-founder/director announced today.

Brooklyn's artisanal community will be represented at the craft show by exhibitors such as potter Yuen-Schat Ming, Mings Monsters, and furniture maker/woodworker Richard Haining. On the eve of the show, the museum will open "Coney Island: Visions of an American Dreamland, 1861-2008," an exhibition of pictures, photographs and objects such as carousel animals, representing this icon of American culture, on view through March 13, 2016.

Some craft exhibitors among 36 new ones this year, are Kathleen Dustin and Robin Bergman, in fashion; Mariko Swisher, ceramics; Patti & Dave Hegland, glass; and Christine & Michael Adcock, Leaves of Grass Fiber-Clay Arts, mixed media. In addition to "Coney Island," visitors can see special museum exhibitions such as "Impressionism and the Caribbean: Francisco Oller and His Transatlantic World," and long-term installations-the iconic Decorative Arts Galleries and Period Rooms and The Mummy Chamber as examples.

American Fine Craft Show Brooklyn was founded and is produced by Joanna and Richard Rothbard. They also direct the American Fine Craft Show Washington DC; American Fine Craft Show Hartford [Conn]; Sarasota Craft Show, Florida and Berkshires Arts Festival, Great Barrington, Mass. For 30+ years they have produced hallmark shows such as the American Fine Craft Show NYC, Contemporary Art Fair NYC and the Rockefeller Arts Festival in Manhattan.
