Pseudolus, the laziest slave in Rome, has but one wish: to purchase his freedom. When he finds out that Hero has fallen in love with a virgin in the house of Lycus, Pseudolus strikes a deal to be freed, if he can procure the girl for his young master.
Combining situations from time-tested, 2,000-year-old comedies of Roman playwright Plautus with the infectious energy of classic vaudeville, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum is a rowdy farce, sure to have you in stitches.
