Norwegian born singer/songwriter Ane Brun makes her Brisbane debut for one night only on Monday 9 January 2017 in Queensland Performing Arts Centre's (QPAC's) Concert Hall as part of her Songs and Rarities Australian tour.

With her lilting vocals, theatrical arrangements, and delicate indie-folk sensibilities, Brun is set to bring a sense of soulful dramatics to audiences in Queensland. From stripped down covers of hits such as Halo, Big in Japan, and True Colours, to her own hugely popular songs My Lover Will Go and Do You Remember, Brun's halcyon-like textured sound promises to enchant audiences of all ages.

Ane Brun was one of Scandinavia's best-kept secrets before launching onto the European stage in 2003 with the release of Spending Time with Morgan which was praised for its cinematic sound and later championed at the Swedish Independent Music Awards.

Her second album A Temporary Dive went platinum in Norway and won her a slew of awards including the country's Grammy© Awards equivalent for Best Female Artist and Hit of the Year in 2005.

In 2013, she released Songs 2003-2013, her retrospective album, and Rarities, both albums brimming with unexpected covers and previously unreleased gems.

This one night only experience in QPAC's Concert Hall on Monday 9 January 2017 and is not-to-be-missed. Book now via www.qpac.com.au or phone 136-246
