On 4 March, Jazz Ambassadors promises a night transported through time to an era of the greatest jazzmen ever. The acclaimed Orchestra will treat audiences to a celebration of legendary contributions by some of the best-loved jazz artists of all-time including Duke, Dizzy, Goodman and Brubeck.
In their second performance on 6 March, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis will present Monk, Miles & More, offering a sensational night of entertainment applauding the genius of masters the likes of Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis and John Coltrane, alongside their own superb arrangements and scintillating original compositions.
These sizzling performances form part of a three-day residency at QPAC which also includes a Jazz for Young People performance and workshops for high school and tertiary students, made possible with funding provided by the United States Government.
