This May Expressions Dance Company's award-winning choreographer, Natalie Weir, brings her stunning new workBehind Closed Doors to The Playhouse at QPAC.

Showcasing breathtakingly beautiful and athletic contemporary dance by the exceptional Expressions Dance Company, Behind Closed Doors draws you into a hotel where the private lives of its late-night guests and staff are exposed.

A veritable feast for the senses this poetic kiss-and-tell features seductive modern jazz performed live on stage by Queensland's Trichotomy, as well as special guests, acclaimed Brisbane-based vocalist Kristin Berardi and saxophonist Rafael Karlen.

Natalie Weir said, "Behind Closed Doors explores the playfulness and fragility of human nature. It has moments of joy and moments of sadness and everything in between. Lovers of live music will especially appreciate Brisbane band Trichotomy performing its modern jazz live on stage alongside the dancers. "

Unleash your inner voyeur with this glimpse through the keyhole that is guaranteed to have you looking at your neighbours differently!
