Now the screen sensation of the 1980's is the stage sensation of the 1990's and beyond! And if the recent smash-hit West End production is any indication, "Fame-The Musical" is indeed "gonna live forever."Set during the last years of New York City's celebrated High School for the Performing Arts on 46th Street (1980-1984), "Fame-The Musical" is bittersweet but ultimately inspiring story of a diverse group of students as they commit to four years of grueling artistic and academic work. With candor, humor and insight, the show explores the issues that confront many young people today: issues of prejudice, identity, self-worth, literacy, sexuality, substance abuse and perseverance.

In the little village of Anatevka, Tevye, a poor dairyman, tries to instill in his five daughters the traditions of his tight-knit Jewish community in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia. Rich in historical and ethnic detail, "Fiddler On The Roof" has touched audiences around the world with its humor, warmth and honesty. It's universal theme of tradition cuts across barriers of race, class, nationality and religion, leaving audiences crying tears of laughter, joy and sadness.
