IN THE HEIGHTS to Close in Sao Paulo, May 25

After a short season in Sao Paulo, IN THE HEIGHTS, or 'NAS ALTURAS' (portuguese version) is about to close. This sunday, May 25th the cast performs for the last time at 'Teatro Bradesco'.
Myra Ruiz and Ricardo Marques play the main couple. Myra is Nina and Ricardo, Benny. The funny moments are headed by Renata Brás and Milena Martines, the girls from de hair saloon. Besides them, the most famous character of the show, Abuela, is Cleide's Queiroz responsability. Usnavi, Vanessa and Sony, played by Péricles Carpigiani, Lola Fanucchi and Gabriel Malo, desearve special attencion. The trio has great moments during the play.
One of the best things of IN THE HEIGHTS is the scenary. Clean and well-developed, it transports the audience to New York City. The songs, translated to portuguese by Victor Mühlethaler, makes you fell like dancing, especially the hit 'Carnaval del Bario', performed by the role cast. Unfortunately IN THE HEIGHTS only for a month in Sao Paulo.
