Wheelock Family Theatre is excited to announce our first Masterclass in partnership with Abilities Dance Boston. This masterclass will center around how the work of Abilities Dance Boston, to promote intersectional disability rights, is shown through movement, music, and a variety of other art forms. Over the course of the 2-hours students will explore the correlation between disability rights work, social media, and the importance of voting and the power of young peoples voices in inspiring and making meaningful change. Led by Abilities Dance Teaching Artist, Louisa Mann, students will work collaboratively to generate movement-based activism pieces, incorporating technology and social media, to inspire their voting age peers to get out and vote on November 3rd.REGISTER BELOWhttps://www.wheelockfamilytheatre.org/education/masterclasses/Tuition for this program is on a sliding scale.
