Reagle Music Theater of Greater Boston (617 Lexington Street, Waltham, MA) presents a one-time-only benefit concert version of Frank Loesser’s most ambitious and romantic musical, "The Most Happy Fella" on Sunday, January 13th at 2:00 pm. This lighthearted musical tells the heart-stopping story of a love triangle between an aging Napa Valley farmer, a younger waitress, and a handsome, restless ranch hand.
From the composer-lyricist of Guys and Dolls and How to Succeed…, the score’s astonishing range features operatic numbers alongside Broadway show-stoppers, including “Somebody Somewhere,” “My Heart Is So Full of You,” “Big D” and “Standing on the Corner.” Reagle’s Benefit Concert production will allow the score to shine in its full majesty.
Book, Music and Lyrics by Frank Loesser, Based on Sidney Howard's “They Knew What They Wanted”.
Individual tickets range from $25 to $66; discounts apply for youths, groups of 10 or more, and seniors. Tickets can be purchased at www.reaglemusictheatre.org, by calling 781-891-5600, or at the theater box office.
