American Repertory Theater presents a new production of Shakespeare's classic love story, Romeo and Juliet. Directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus and choreographed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, the show features Rudy Pankow as Romeo and Emilia Suárez as Juliet, along with Terrence Mann as Friar Laurence. The production promises to deliver a fresh interpretation while exploring themes of passion and conflict that resonate through the ages. Performances run from August 31 to October 6, 2024, at the Loeb Drama Center in Cambridge, MA.
The American Repertory Theater at Harvard University is dedicated to expanding the boundaries of theater, always including the audience as a partner. We focus on the research and development of groundbreaking theatrical experiences that catalyze dialogue and transformation. We believe that by engaging our hearts, minds and bodies, theater has the power to heal and imagine collective pathways forward.
