Quartetto Mosso presents an All-American Program featuring works by African-American composers alongside Antonin Dvořák's "American" string quartet. The concert also highlights compositions from Broadway's George Gershwin and Hollywood's Henry Mancini, celebrating their contributions to the American music landscape. The performance will take place at 3 PM in the intimate setting of 52 Sumner, a new venue for the Springfield Chamber Players. Notable musicians from the Springfield Symphony Orchestra will embody the spirit of these iconic pieces.
