Welcome to the luxurious Plaza Hotel where Neil Simon’s classic comedy “Plaza Suite”, directed by jon Baril, comes to life, captivating audiences with its wit charm, and hilarity. Set in the iconic New York City landmark “Plaza Suite” takes visitors on a delightful journey through three different acts each showcasing a unique story of love marriage and the complexities of human relationships.
In the first act titled “Visitor from Mamaroneck” Karen and Sam Nash’s 23rd wedding anniversary takes an unexpected turn as they grapple with their fading romance in a Plaza Suite hotel room. The second act “Visitor from Hollywood” follows Hollywood producer Jesse Kiplinger’s attempts to rekindle a past flame with his high school sweetheart Muriel Tate amidst comedic misunderstandings. Lastly the third act “Visitor from Forest Hills” explores the tensions within Roy and Norma Hubley’s marriage as they confront unresolved issues while preparing for their daughter’s wedding day at the Plaza Suite.
Each act unfolds with sharp wit uproarious antics and heartfelt moments showcasing Neil Simon’s mastery of comedic storytelling.
