The Belmont Dramatic Club is pleased to present one of Shakespeare’s most delightful comedies, Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Francine Davis.
This production, set in 1958 against the backdrop of the music industry, adds classic rock tunes to Shakespeare’s tale of the clever and charming Beatrice and Benedick, and their “merry war” of wits. The plot also features a rock star named Claudio, a villain who wants to destroy him, a bumbling constabulary, and lots of eavesdropping. The result is a fun show that is Much Ado About Nothing.
Performances are October 13, 14, & 21, at 8:00 PM, and October 22 at 3:00 PM, in the Belmont Town Hall. All tickets are $20 and are available online at http://bdcmuchado.brownpapertickets.com, via mail or email, or at the door.
