The Mali Obomsawin Quartet will perform during the Celebrity Series of Boston's 2025 Jazz Festival on March 15, featuring Mali Obomsawin, an artist from the Odanak First Nation known for her talents as a bassist, singer-songwriter, and composer. Recognized among Grammy.com’s top ten emerging jazz artists, Obomsawin seamlessly blends elements of jazz and folk music. Her notable contributions include scoring the documentary *Sugarcane*, which has garnered multiple award nominations. The ensemble will also feature Magdalena Abrego on electric guitar and Yuma Uesaka on reeds, with a drummer to be announced.
