American Classics presents "Journey to Oz” Songs from over a hundred years of Oz musicals and films.

The concert will feature three selections from the 1902 musical "The Wizard of Oz" with lyrics by L. Frank Baum, the first dramatic version. Scarecrow Song and Love is Love, The Jitterbug and Over the Rainbow (of course) from 1939 Wizard of Oz. Slide Me Some Oil, No Bad News, Believe from The Wiz (and more). A popular medley of songs from Wicked, soon to be a film.
