Cast and Creative team for Jesus Christ Superstar at Queer Theatre Company

Cast

Ryan Moore

Judas Iscariot
Ryan Moore (Judas Iscariot): Ryan is thrilled to be playing one of his dream roles as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar! He has been acting for most of his life, in roles such as Juror #10 in 12 Angry Jurors, Harry the Horse in Guys and Dolls and most recently as Eddie / Dr. Scott in The Rocky Horror Show. Lastly, Ryan would like to thank his friends and family for their loving support and he assures his QTC family that they also mean the world to him.

Samantha May Weisberg

Mary Magdalene
Samantha May Weismen (Mary Magdalene): This is Samantha‘s first show with Queer Theatre Company. Being a relatively new transplant to Massachusetts, Sam brings her musical talents to the role of Mary Magdalene. Samantha received her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Boston University’s School for the Arts. From the Montreaux Jazz Festival to the Hollywood Bowl, Sam has performed in concerts and festivals around the world as a background singer for Isaac Hayes, as well as with various other artists and as a solo artist. She has shared a microphone with greats like Herbie Hancock, Leonard Cohen and Dionne Warwick and has made her living singing in various recording projects throughout musical genres, as well as Voice Over commercials and animated shows. Her last foray into musical theatre was Cabaret, in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam, where she portrayed Sally Bowles. Sam is a wife to her husband Gregg and mother to two teenage boys, Wolf and Gus. She is thrilled to be here to share her love of music with you.

Tim Moore

Pontius Pilate / King Herod / Rabbi
Tim Moore (Pontius Pilate, King Herod, Rabbi, Ensemble) Tim started performing ten years ago at the Laurel Grange, beginning with the Village Theatre Company's production of Spamalot and ending with A Midsummer Night's Dream. In between, he appeared in Keeper Of The Tales, An Evening With Edgar Allan Poe, and A Pirate's Life For Me, his most cherished VTC's production, because it was the first time he got to share the stage with his daughter, Rachel, and his son, Ryan. He co-directed And Then There Were None and directed 12 Angry Jurors, both of which featured Rachel and Ryan in the cast. In the fall of 2023, he was asked to play Riff-Raff in Queer Theatre Company's production of The Rocky Horror Show, returning to the Laurel Grange after four years. Last year, he played The Cowardly Lion in QTC's production of The Wizard Of Oz, and the 2nd run of The Rocky Horror Show; this time as Brad Majors, where he shared the stage again with Ryan and Rachel. He looks forward to future endeavors with Queer Theatre Company, including directing an upcoming production, and returning to The Rocky Horror Show this October and A Christmas Carol in December. . He is grateful to have been given the opportunity to play not one, but two of his favorite characters in Jesus Christ Superstar, having grown up listening to, loving, and singing all the songs, particularly King Herod's number! Tim can't wait to have his family see Jesus Christ Superstar, particularly his wife Laura and his son Alec, the only non-thespians of the bunch. He dedicates his performances in Jesus Christ Superstar to his brother Steve and his Mum, because it was their favorite musical, and they are now spending eternity with Jesus.

Elias Kelter

Caiaphas, High Priest / Ensemble
Elias Kelter (Caiaphas): Elias has been enjoying QTC productions for some time now and is excited to finally be working with them. Jesus Christ Superstar is his first performance since Guys and Dolls in middle school and his senior show at Salem High School, MA. When not practicing, he's trying to put his Emerson College degree to use on freelance editing and animation. He wants to thank his mother, Cathy, for joining him on this venture, and his friends for always sticking by him.

Kayleigh Tobin

Annas, High Priest / Ensemble
Kayleigh Tobin (Annas, High Priest / Ensemble) Kayleigh is so excited for her third performance with QTC following her appearances as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz and Columbia/Betty in The Rocky Horror Show. She participated in multiple choirs in high school, including All-State Choir and district competitions. Although she hasn't done much acting or singing since then she's been enjoying getting back into it with her QTC family as well as her real life mom! After a couple brief stints as a massage therapist and restaurant manager, she now works in a comic shop. Although she wasn't very familiar with Jesus Christ Superstar when she started the show, she's been having a blast and is excited to share this rendition with all of you!

Anna Marcheterre

Peter Cephas / Ensemble
Anna Marcheterre (Peter/Ensemble): Anna is excited for her fifth QTC show and being introduced to Jesus Christ Superstar. She is currently hoping to be accepted to a biotechnology certificate program and has a job making chocolate. At home, she likes to go for walks as well as spending time with her family and cat. Recent roles include Phantom as well as Magenta in The Rocky Horror Show Live! The Tinman in The Wizard of Oz, Audrey II Puppeteer in Little Shop of Horrors, A Giddy Girl in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and Snug/ Mustardseed in A Midsummer Night's Dream.

Dyan Piacentini

Simon the Zealot / Maid by the Fire
Dyan is delighted to be in her first QTC production. She thanks QTC for welcoming her into their family. In her free time she enjoys dancing, doing puzzles, and going to the movies. Dyan would like to thank her parents and her wife, Heather, for their love and support.

Marc Ciaraldi

Jesus of Nazareth
Marc Ciaraldi (Jesus of Nazareth) - Marc is beyond grateful to be able to work and play alongside his fellow talented cast and crew team. This production of JCS will be his fifth. Marc has been blessed with cerebral palsy (a neurological disorder from birth that affects 1-4 limbs of the body) which makes walking, dexterity and motor skills more challenging. However, Marc has beaten the odds, thanks in great part to his loving parents; who were told by doctors and surgeons when he was quite young that he would most likely never walk. But that was never a viable option. Look at God! With 40 + years of community and regional theater in his repertoire, he has no intentions of slowing down. He is a proud vegan of 11 years and loves animals. He and his partner, Bob, love two amazing black lab mixes, Jesse and Brandon Beau and a cat named Kenzie. He would like to thank his QTC family, his Mother, Bob, Casey, his "Mamusia" and above all, God, from whom all blessings flow. Love One Another.

Cathy Kelter

James The Greater / Ensemble
Cathy Kelter (James The Greater / Ensemble): After enjoying many of QTC's previous shows, Cathy is happy to be involved in Jesus Christ Superstar. Aside from the high school chorus, this is Cathy's first time onstage. For fun, Cathy enjoys building Harry Potter Legos and Game Nights with friends. She wants to thank her family and friends, especially Elias for his help and encouragement.

Debi Bulmer

Mary of Nazareth
Debi Bulmer (Mary – Mother of Jesus) Debi is happy to be performing with her Queer Theatre Company family once again. Her last performance was The Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show - Live! She has appeared in several performances in this same venue with Village Theatre Company. A lover of the theatre, Debi also enjoys spending time with her family and dreaming of cruising. Debi is a Senior Functional Analyst with General Dynamics Information Technology. She wishes to thank her family (Shannon and Bob) for their support and her QTC family for the opportunity to do what she loves. Blessings!

Jonathan Wisco

John the Beloved / Ensemble
Jonathan Wisco (John the Beloved / Ensemble) Jonathan is honored and excited to perform with QTC for the first time! He loves to perform and is proud to reprise his role as an ensemble/leper/accuser in JCS. He is also glad to “finally make it as an apostle!” Thanks to my family for supporting my musical theatre habit!
