  3. HYPROV: Improv Under Hypnosis – A Mind-Blowing Live Comedy Experience!

Prepare to witness a groundbreaking fusion of comedy and psychology as comedy legend Colin Mochrie (of Whose Line Is It Anyway?) teams up with world-renowned hypnotist Asad Mecci to present HYPROV. This innovative live show, set at The Wilbur in Boston, offers a unique blend of hypnotic transformation and unscripted improv that has captivated audiences and critics alike.

During the performance, an expert hypnotist selects 20 audience volunteers to come onstage. Over about 20 minutes, these participants are hypnotized to tap into their uninhibited, unconscious creativity. The most receptive volunteers then join forces with Colin Mochrie to form an impromptu improv troupe. What unfolds is a spontaneous, completely original show where every moment is unpredictable and each performance is one-of-a-kind.

Critics have hailed HYPROV as “hilarious and fascinating” (Time Out New York), “catnip for those who relish spontaneity” (The Wall Street Journal), and even praised by The New Yorker as a must-see celebration of the human imagination. If you’re looking for an evening that pushes the boundaries of traditional theater and leaves you both laughing and in awe, HYPROV is the event you can’t miss.

Join us on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 7:30 PM at The Wilbur (246 Tremont Street, Boston, MA) for a night where comedy meets the mystery of the mind in the most exhilarating way possible!
