The play centers around a couple, Nancy and Bill, who have been married for 50 years. They decide to move to a retirement community called Grand Horizons. While Nancy feels liberated by the move, Bill seems unfazed by their decision to divorce. Their two adult sons, Brian and Ben, are floored by the news and descend upon Grand Horizons to mediate the situation. As the family grapples with this new reality, everything they thought they knew about their parents comes crashing down.
Grand Horizons is a hilarious, heartbreaking commentary on marriage, family, and the wisdom that comes with age. It is filled with dark humor and unforgettable characters.
