Galileo's Daughter is a co-production by WAM Theatre and Central Square Theater that explores the correspondence between Galileo Galilei and his daughter, Maria Celeste. The narrative intertwines the past and present as a writer, grappling with her own personal crisis, discovers Maria's resilience and strength while navigating her father's challenges. Directed by Reena Dutt, the play highlights themes of faith, forgiveness, and the pursuit of truth, bringing to light the often-overlooked contributions of women in history. This production features a talented ensemble cast from across Massachusetts and runs from October 18 to November 3 in the Berkshires before moving to Cambridge.
