Footloose at North Shore Music Theatre

nspired by the wildly popular 1984 movie, FOOTLOOSE! thrilled Broadway audiences for nearly two years and the stage show has entertained millions around the world over the past decade. FOOTLOOSE!, featuring NSMT Audience favorite George Dvorsky as Reverend Shaw Moore, will play for two weeks only - August 16 - 28.

It’s a story of American spirit — a carefree city kid transplanted to a conservative rural town where rock ’n roll and dancing are forbidden. He takes on the authorities, makes all the right moves, and, of course, wins the girl in the end. FOOTLOOSE! features all of the chart-topping music from the film including “Almost Paradise,” “Holding Out For A Hero,” "Let’s Hear It For The Boy,” and also features material written specifically for the stage. North Shore Music Theatre’s high-energy production will have audiences cutting loose and dancing up the aisles.
