Every Brilliant Thing is one hour show that recounts a life shadowed by suicide and uses audience participation to do it. Originally played and co-written by the comedian Jonny Donahoe with playwrite Duncan Macmillan, the narrator unfolds the story of their life, including the suicide of their mother and their mission to write down a list of everything that is brilliant about living. In Freeplay's version, this one man show has been turned into a three person show with each character portraying a different side of the narrator: one character is the side you show to the public/professional, the other to those in your private life and the third those in your secret life.
