Boston Theater Marathon XXIV features 50 ten-minute plays written by New England playwrights and presented by New England theatre companies which donate their time (and talent!) to this annual event. Net proceeds are gifted to the Theatre Community Benevolent Fund, which helps area theatre artists and companies in crisis. You can learn more about this annual event here. This years BTM marks the return to our in-person event (having performed via the videoconferencing tool Zoom in 2020 and 2021) and the return of the BTM to our home theatre on Comm Ave. (Huntington Theatre Companys Virginia Wimberly Theatre was the BTMs home from 2005-2019.)Tickets and COVID-19 SafetyWe are thrilled to be able to gather in person this year. Learn more about our COVID-19 Safety policies and protocols. Due to ongoing coronavirus concerns, we have made the decision not to offer an all-day pass for BTM XXIV. We hope the all-day pass can return next year, for the BTMs silver anniversary event!Boston Theater Marathon XXIV will be divided into five blocks (each block $20 advance/$25 day-of-event, fees apply), each featuring ten plays and running approximately one hour and 40 minutes (or 100 minutes). The 20-minute break between blocks will allow us to circulate fresh air through the theatre and give audience members time to stretch their legs and grab a snackor race home to continue watching the event via livestream!Patrons who purchase a ticket to any part of the in-person event will also receive a link to the event livestream, so they may continue their BTM experience outside the theatre if they wish.Patrons who wish to enjoy the BTM entirely from home may purchase a ticket to the livestream ($10, fees apply) here:
