No sooner does Rosalind fall in love with the dashing Orlando than her uncle banishes her from the court, forcing her to flee to the Forest of Arden. Swapping her skirt for a sturdy pair of pants, Rosalind disguises herself as a man and enlists her loyal cousin Celia and their witty fool Touchstone to join her in the adventure.
With at least five love stories wrapped into one, this freewheeling, light-hearted comedy is a master class in the secret desires of the heart. A tale of friendship, hope, and personal discovery, true love eventually wins out, restoring order to the court once again. (At the Founders' Theatre)
