On February 16, Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater brings magic and mystery to the stage with Rich Archer and Company. Children and adults will thrill to inventive illusions and a real live magic rabbit. Tricks include The Houdini Escape Trunk, Floating Kid, and Magical Snow Storm.Like many young people Rich Archer was fascinated by magic as a kid after seeing a local magician. Rich began practicing and reading every magic book in the library many times over.

In high school he began networking with professional magicians, learning stage craft at Barnstable High School, and performing local shows. At the University of Massachusetts he studied as a Technical Theatre/Performance major and continued to hone his magic. Rich's magic benefits from his unique experience as a Technical Director/Scenic/Special Effects designer for Colleges and Theatres in the Boston/Cape area. Some of these include Wheelock Family Theatre, Regis College, Harwich Junior Theatre, Boston Arts Academy, and Barnstable Summer Family Theatre. He is also a founding member of the Peabody House Theatre Coop in Somerville. His versatile skills help create fun, inventive Magic shows for thousands of folks every year!
