Wellesley Repertory Theatre Presents A PIECE OF MY HEART Image

On Monday, June 4, Wellesley Repertory Theatre (WRT) will host a special performance at 7pm to honor those who have served with free tickets for veterans.

This is a powerful, true drama of six women who went to Vietnam: four nurses, an army officer and a country western singer booked to entertain the troops. The play portrays each young woman before, during and after her tour in the war-torn jungle. It ends as each leaves a personal token at The Wall in Washington.

Under the direction of Nora Hussey, WRT is proud to feature critically acclaimed company members and Boston-area professionals: Danny Bolton*, Andrea Lyman*, Alan White*, Jenna Lea Scott*, including three Wellesley College alumnae: Marge Dunn, Victoria George*, Ariela Nazar-Rosen and current Davis Scholar Sarah Lord*. The set is designed by Janie Howland, Lights by Matt Whiton, Costumes by Chelsea Kerl, Sound by George Cooke, and Projection Design by Johnathan Carr.
