Fresh off its recent IRNE wins, Hub Theatre Company of Boston will continue its fifth season with the hilarious theatrical romp Waiting for Waiting for Godot by Dave Hanson Friday, July 14 through Saturday, July 29 at Club Café, 209 Columbus Avenue in Boston's Back Bay.

Performances are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. All performances are Pay-What-You-Can and donations of non-perishable food items will be collected at all performances for local charities. For tickets and information, visit www.hubtheatreboston.org.

In the show The New York Times hails as "delectable," hapless yet devoted understudies Ester and Val ponder art, life and theatre while they wait backstage, certain that one day their big break will come. Will tonight be their night? This madcap, laugh-filled love letter to theatre and hysterical homage to Samuel Beckett's classic drama makes its Boston debut after critically acclaimed runs in both New York and London. Witty, wise and endearing, this is a show for theatre lovers and haters alike.

Elliot Norton and IRNE Award winning local legend Paula Plum directs three of Boston's funniest actors- Gabriel Graetz, Robert Orzalli, and Lauren Elias- in this farcical takeoff of one of the most respected plays of all time. This absurdly entertaining exploration of drama and life in the theatre will have you rolling in the aisles and shedding tears of laughter.

An internationally published and produced playwright, actor and comedian living in New York City, Dave Hanson is best known for his work on Inside Amy Schumer and Chelsea Lately. Originally from Olympia, Washington, Dave studied Theatre and English Literature at Whittier College and trained in improv, sketch comedy and acting in both New York and Los Angeles. Other plays include The Exit Interview, Café d'Automatique, and Thank You For Letting Me Have Sex With You.

Hub Theater Company of Boston was founded in 2012 to foster creativity among Boston's emerging theatre artists. Hub is a 501(c)(3) non-profit theatre company committed to creating entertaining, captivating, socially aware and emotionally engaging theatre in intimate settings. In order to cultivate a diverse audience and break down barriers between audience and art, all tickets to all performances are Pay-What-You-Can. For more information, visit www.hubtheatreboston.org.
