The acting collaborative It's A Fiasco celebrates Valentine's Day with a Shakespearean fund-raiser. The party features company members performing Shakespearean scenes and sonnets as well as music, a silent auction, hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. All funds raised will support It's a Fiasco's third season of presenting free Shakespeare in Cambridge public parks.

Supporters that cannot attend can bid on auction items and donate online. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law through the fiscal sponsorship of Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)3 public charity.

Scenes at "Feast of Love" include It's A Fiasco company members Liz Adams (Hippolyta, A Midsummer Night's Dream), Kim Carrell* (Theseus, MSND; Don Pedro, Much Ado About Nothing) and Lisa Burdick in Henry V; Jen Alison Lewis* (Hermia, MSND; Dogberry, MAAN) and Ron Lacey (Oberon, MSND) in Richard III; Samantha Richert* (Dona Jo, MAAN), Kim Carrell* and Luis Negron* (Egeus, MSND; Antonio, MAAN) in Taming of the Shrew; Mike Handelman (Wall, MSND) with sonnets and music; and newcomers Whitney Sandford and Thomas Walsworth in Romeo and Juliet. Company members will perform a unique Sonnet Mash-up, created by Samantha Richert.

Auction items include one-of-a-kind jewelry and knit goods by local artisans, rare Chinese liquors, restaurant gift certificates, and acting/speaking coaching, among other items. Items can be viewed and advanced bids received at www.facebook.com/ItsAFiascoCambridge.

It's a Fiasco is committed to bringing Shakespeare to the public through free outdoor performances. Their goal is to celebrate the acting ensemble through performances in natural settings with the sponsorship of the City of Cambridge and the Cambridge Arts Council. It's a Fiasco will bring a third season of free performances to the Cambridge community in summer 2015. "A Midsummer Night's Dream" in 2014 and "Much Ado About Nothing" in 2013 performed to several thousand people in Danehy Park and Longfellow Park.
