Un-Common Theatre Announces Auditions For LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

The Un-Common Theatre Company is thrilled to announce auditions for their Spring Production of "Little Shop of Horrors" on Sunday, January 7, 2018, from 10:00am to 1:00pm. The production will feature a cast of 7th through 12th graders and will be performed at the Orpheum Theatre in Foxboro on April 6-8, 2018.

This production brings together the creative team of Co-Directors Maggie Dowd (Sharon, MA) and Ashley Goverman (Mansfield, MA) along with Music and Orchestra Director Derrick Lacasse (Jamaica Plain, MA)

A deviously delicious Broadway and Hollywood sci-fi smash musical, Little Shop of Horrors has devoured the hearts of theatre goers for over 30 years. Howard Ashman and Alan Menken (Disney's The Little Mermaid, Beauty And The Beast, and Aladdin) are the creative geniuses behind what has become one of the most popular shows in the world.

The meek floral assistant Seymour Krelborn stumbles across a new breed of plant he names "Audrey II" - after his coworker crush. This foul-mouthed, R&B-singing carnivore promises unending fame and fortune to the down and out Krelborn as long as he keeps feeding it, BLOOD. Over time, though, Seymour discovers Audrey II's out of this world origins and intent towards global domination!

Auditions will be held at the Orpheum Theatre, Foxboro, MA, for students in Grades 7 through 12 on Sunday, January 7, 2018 from 10:00am to 1:00pm BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.
