Broadway In Boston and Producers Broadway Across America - Beth Williams; Howard & Janet Kagan; and Barry Brown have announced that tickets for the upcoming Boston engagement of the highly anticipated Pre-Broadway World Premiere of Tuck Everlasting will go on sale to the public this Sunday, March 10th beginning at 10am. This limited three week engagement will play the historic Citi Performing Arts Center Emerson Colonial Theatre July 28-August 18, 2013 and is part of the Lexus Broadway In Boston Series.

Tickets for Tuck Everlasting will be available only through an authorized ticket seller found only at the Citi Center Box Office 1-866-348-9738, and by visiting www.BroadwayInBoston.com. Tickets will also be sold directly at the Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre Box Office, 270 Tremont St., Boston, MA on Sunday, March 10th from 10am-6pm and during normal business hours (Tuesday through Saturday, 12pm to 6pm) beginning Tuesday, March 12th. If you could live forever, would you? That's the eternal question of Tuck Everlasting. In a small New England town, a young girl dreaming of adventure stumbles upon a family with a fabulous secret. Their chance encounter sends them on an unforgettable journey that will test everything they believe about love, life, and what it means to truly feel alive.

With a book by Tony Award nominee Claudia Shear (Dirty Blonde), music by Chris Miller (The Burnt Part Boys), lyrics by Nathan Tysen (The Burnt Part Boys) and directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon), Tuck Everlasting is based on the award-winning novel by Natalie Babbitt.

TUCK EVERLASTING will feature sets by Walt Spangler (A Christmas Story), costumes by two-time Tony Award-winner Gregg Barnes (Follies), lighting by three-time Tony Award-winner Natasha Katz (Once), sound by Tony Award-winner Brian Ronan (The Book of Mormon), orchestrations by Danny Troob (Newsies) and musical direction by Rob Berman (The Pajama Game).

The pre-Broadway production will feature (in alphabetical order): Fred Applegate (Sister Act) as 'Constable Joe,' Marylouise Burke (Fuddy Meers) as 'Nana,' Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello (Scandalous) as 'Ma Tuck,' David Garrison (Titanic) as 'The Man In The Yellow Suit,' Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies) as 'Jesse Tuck,' Daytime Emmy Award Winner Michael Park (How To Succeed...) as 'Pa Tuck,' Michael Wartella (The Kid) as 'Hugo,' and Valerie Wright (Elf) as 'Mother,' and will introduce Sadie Sink in the role of 'Winnie.' Additional casting, design team members, and Broadway production details will be announced at a later date.

The 1,700 seat Citi Performing Arts Center Emerson Colonial Theatre was designed by Clarence Blackall and first opened its doors for a performance of Ben-Hur on December 20, 1900. In the early and mid 20th century, Boston was considered a launching pad for Broadway producers to try out new productions before bringing them to New York. Boston theatergoers were treated to a sneak peek of many well-known Broadway shows at the Colonial including Anything Goes, Porgy and Bess, Oklahoma!, Annie Get Your Gun, and La Cage aux Folles. This year, July will mark the beginning of a new chapter for the Colonial Theatre. The nonprofit Citi Performing Arts Center will assume operations of the theatre, with a booking agreement with Broadway Across America, ensuring that the Boston tradition of presenting Broadway shows continues in its historic home.

Fred Applegate (Constable Joe) is currently playing Moonface Martin, Public Enemy No. 13, in the First National Tour of the Roundabout Theater's Tony Award winning production of Anything Goes. He has starred in London and on Broadway as Max Bialystock in The Producers. Other Broadway: Monsignor O'Hara in Sister Act, M. Dindon in La Cage aux Folles, Inspector Kemp/the Blind Hermit in Young Frankenstein, and Max Detweiller in The Sound of Music. Other NY: Kevin in Happiness at Lincoln Center,and Panisse in Fanny for Encores! Regional: Guthrie Theater (resident company, 11 productions), Old Globe, Geffen Playhouse, Mark Taper Forum (4 productions), others. Over 150 television episodes, and narrations for many documentaries.

Marylouise Burke (Nana). Broadway: Is He Dead?, Into the Woods and Inherit the Wind. National Tour: Lettice and Lovage, directed by Michael Blakemore. Off-Broadway includes Rx; Love, Loss and What I Wore; The Savannah Disputation; Fuddy Meers (Drama Desk Award); Kimberly Akimbo (Drama Desk nomination); Wintertime; The Oldest Profession; American Sligo. Films include Sideways, Series 7: The Contenders, Must Love Dogs, A Prairie Home Companion.

Carolee Carmello (Ma Tuck) has played leading roles in 12 Broadway musicals, including her recent critically-acclaimed performance in Scandalous, where she portrayed the infamous evangelist, Aimee Semple McPherson. Broadway audiences also saw Carolee as Mother Superior in Sister Act, as Mrs. Beineke in The Addams Family (for which she received a Drama Desk nomination and an Outer Critics Circle nomination), as Donna in Mamma Mia!, as Gabrielle in Lestat (Tony nomination, Drama Desk nomination), as Ms. Pennywise in Urinetown, as Kate in Kiss Me Kate, as Marguerite in The Scarlet Pimpernel, as Lucille Frank in Parade (Tony

nomination and Drama Desk Award), as AbiGail Adams in 1776, as Cordelia in Falsettos, and as Oolie in City of Angels. Her Off-Broadway shows include: john and jen, Das Barbecü, I Can Get It For You Wholesale, Hello Again (Obie Award), A Class Act, The Vagina Monologues, and Elegies. Ms. Carmello's television credits include "Law and Order," "Frasier," "Ed," and "Remember W.E.N.N." (SAG Award nomination), as well as an upcoming episode of "Smash." She has toured the U.S. with productions of Chess, Big River, Falsettos, and LES MISERABLES. Her concert appearances have taken her across America and Europe, including several engagements at Carnegie Hall.

David Garrison (The Man In The Yellow Suit). Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Jesse Tuck). Michael Park (Pa Tuck). Michael is currently on Broadway in Tennessee Williams' Cat On A Hot Tin Roof. He was recently in the 2011 revival of How to Succeed as Mr. Bratt. Other Broadway credits: Carousel (Billy), Smokey Joe's Café (original cast), Little Me (Lucky). His Off-Broadway work includes Hello Again (Lincoln Center); Violet, The Burnt Part Boys (Playwrights Horizons); Bloomer Girl, Applause (City Center's Encores!); Middletown (Vineyard Theatre). Michael is best known for his work as Jack Snyder on "As the World Turns," for which he received two Emmy Awards.

Michael Wartella (Hugo) is currently playing Boq in the national tour of Wicked. Off-Broadway: RENT (Dir. Michael Grief), The Kid (The New Group), Seussical (Theatreworks/USA), Oliver Twist (Theatre for a New Audience). Sadie Sink (Winnie) Sadie is currently making her Broadway debut in the revival of Annie. Regionally, she has been seen as Annie in Annie as well as Susan Waverly in White Christmas, both at Houston's famed Theatre Under The Stars. Other favorite credits include The Miracle Worker (Helen Keller), Parenthesis (Casey), and The Secret Garden (Mary Lennox). Sadie hails from Brenham, Texas, where she studied at the Humphreys School of Musical Theatre in Houston.

Claudia Shear (Book) has written the plays Restoration (La Jolla Playhouse, New York Theatre Workshop), Dirty Blonde (Obie Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, Lucille Lortel Award, Jefferson Award and Drama Desk and Tony Award nominations) and Blown Sideways Through Life (Obie Award, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award). As a performer, Ms. Shear's Broadway credits include Dirty Blonde directed by James Lapine (Lucille Lortel Award, Clarence Derwent Award and Drama Desk and Tony Award nominations) and Smell of the Kill directed by Christopher Ashley. Other theater credits include Chicago (West End), Who's the Daddy directed by Tamara Harvey (London), Remains of the Day directed by Scott Elliott (Williamstown Theatre Festival), Blown Sideways Through Life directed by Christopher Ashley (Obie Award, Lucille Lortel Award and Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations) and Dirty Blonde (West End, Off-Broadway). Ms. Shear's TV credits include "Blown Sideways Through Life" (PBS), "Friends," and "The Player." Film credits include Living Out Loud and It Could Happen to You. Ms. Shear also writes for numerous publications including The New York Times, Vogue, Travel & Leisure, New York Magazine and Harper's Bazaar.

Chris Miller (Composer). With Nathan Tysen, Miller composed the musical The Burnt Part Boys (book by Mariana Elder), which was nominated for a 2009 Lucille Lortel Award for Best New Musical. It was presented in a lab production at the Vineyard Theatre (May 2009), a production at New York Stage & Film (Summer '09), and as a co-production with the Vineyard Theatre at Playwrights Horizons (May 2010), with an original cast album released on Yellow Sound Label. Also with Tysen, Miller composed the song cycle Fugitive Songs (2008 Drama Desk Nomination) and contributed songs to PBS's "The Electric Company," "Sesame Street," and "Elmo's World." Recently he co-composed the 1st ever New York revival of Angels in America with Michael Friedman, directed by Michael Greif at the Signature Theatre. Miller is currently working with lyricist Nathan Tysen on a commission for Lincoln Center Theatre, a Playwrights Horizons/TheatreWorks Palo Alto co-commission, and an original musical as part of the American Musical Voices Project: The Next Generation at Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA. He is a proud graduate of Elon University and NYU.

Nathan Tysen (Lyrics) is a Brooklyn based songwriter and performer. Musical theatre work with composer Chris Miller includes lyrics for The Burnt Part Boys (2009 Lucille Lortel Nomination for Best New Musical), Fugitive Songs (2008 Drama Desk Nomination for Outstanding Revue), and an adaptation of Chris Van Allsburg's picture book, The Mysteries of Harris Burdick (Boston Globe Top Ten Pick of 2008). Current projects with Miller include two commissions from Lincoln Center Theater and Playwrights Horizons/ Theatreworks Silicon Valley. An accomplished writer and performer of children's music, Nathan has penned tunes for "Sesame Street," "The Electric Company," "Storytime By Design," and "Little Maestros." Nathan has also worked for over a decade writing and directing for the Lovewell Institute for the Creative Arts, helping to create over a dozen new musicals with young adults. Casey Nicholaw (Direction/Choreography) won the 2011 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards for his work as co-director on The Book Of Mormon. Other Broadway credits: ELF: the Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone (2006 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations), and Monty Python's Spamalot, directed by Mike Nichols (2005 Tony, Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations for Best Choreography). Walt Spangler (Scenic Design). Selected credits: Broadway: A Christmas Story! The Musical, Scandalous, Desire Under the Elms, Hollywood Arms. Off-B'way: CSC, Atlantic, MTC, NYSF/Public, etc. Productions at virtually every regional theatre across the country. Works are within the permanent repertories of San Francisco Opera, Chicago Lyric, English National Opera, Boston Ballet, et al.

Gregg Barnes (Costume Designer). Brian Ronan (Sound Design). More than 20 Broadway shows. Some recent designs include Annie, Bring It: The Musical, The Book Of Mormon (Tony Award); Anything Goes (Drama Desk); AmericanIdiot; Promises, Promises; Next To Normal (Tony nomination); Grease; Curtains; Spring Awakening as well as Grey Gardens and The Pajama Game which both earned Drama Desk nominations. Off-Broadway designs include Rent, Everyday Rapture, Saved, 10 Million Miles and Bug (Obie and Lucille Lortel awards). Regional designs include Bonnie And Clyde (LaJolla); American Idiot (Berkeley Rep); Dancing In The Dark (The Old Globe); A Christmas Carol (McCarter).

Danny Troob (Orchestrations) orchestrated Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, Newsies and Hercules for film and Newsies, Big River and How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying on Broadway. He wrote the underscore for "Annie," "Cinderella" and "The Music Man" for ABC and has composed the scores to several direct-to-videos for Disney. His "January Sonata" for viola was performed at the OK Mozart Festival and in Ottowa this summer by word-famous violist Paul Neubauer.

Rob Berman (Musical Direction) is music director of City Center's Encores! Series where he recently worked on Merrily We Roll Along, Damn Yankees, Stairway to Paradise and Finian's Rainbow. Broadway credits include Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Finian's Rainbow, and revivals of The Pajama Game, Wonderful Town and The Apple Tree. Rob won a Helen Hayes Award for his music direction of the Kennedy Center's production of Sunday in the Park With George. He is also music director of the Kennedy Center Honors Orchestra (Emmy nominee).

Barry Brown (Producer) produced the original Broadway production of La Cage aux Folles (1983) and the 1989 revival of Gypsy starring Tyne Daly and Linda Lavin. MR. Brown won Tony Awards for Best Musical and Best Musical Revival respectively. He has also produced Kander and Ebb's The Visit (Chicago, New York). On Broadway MR. Brown has directed Company (1993) and Angela Lansbury - A Celebration (1996).
