The Un-Common Theatre Company end their production of THE LITTLE MERMAID on March 21st by the Young Performers' Production, a musical based on the story by Hans Christian Anderson.
Adapted by R. Eugene Jackson with music by Carl Alette, this beloved tale tells the story of Anemone (
Erin Fitzgerald of Westwood, MA), an adventurous little mermaid, who leaves her undersea realm for a fifteenth birthday excursion to the surface. She hopes to find the prince of her dreams, (
Daniel Fullerton, Mansfield, MA) whose statue she has found. Accompanied by her friends, Clem Clam (
Ethan Gekow of Sharon, Ma) and Laura Lobster (
Samantha Eddy of Mansfield, MA), her quest is in peril as she faces the evil plan of the jealous Sea-Witch (
Cara Dipietro of Norfolk, MA).
This delightful musical is directed by
Meg Lowey, a Foxboro High School Senior, choreographed by
Maggie Dowd, a Sharon High School Junior, with Music Direction by Linda Barbieri of Attleboro, Ma.
