The Colonial Theatre kicks off March with a one night only presentation of Jury's Irish Cabaret on Saturday, March 5 at 8pm. This extravaganza features Ireland's King of Comedy Joe Cuddy, world class Irish dancing by the Dublin City Dancers, singing and dancing talents of Victoria Kenny, and a generous measure of music and song that inspires both laughter and tears.
Jury's Irish Cabaret features the country's top artists and has entertained over two and a half million people over the past forty years at its home in Dublin and across Ireland where it has been named Ireland's National Entertainment Award Show of the Year. Since 1978, it has undertaken 10 coast-to-coast tours of the United States and Canada playing to packed houses and performing before an estimated 1.2 million Americans including at New York's famed Carnegie Hall.
Over the years, the show has featured many established stars and has proven to be a launching pad for many gifted young artists. Among the fine voices featured are those of John McNally, Michael O'Dea, Patricia Cahill, Mary O'Hara and well-known recording artist Tony Kenny. In addition to the music and dance, great Irish comedians keep the audience laughing throughout the two hour extravaganza.
