Boston Actors Theater (BAT) continues its 7th season with The Boston Holiday Show. Presented at The Boston Playwright's Theatre, 949 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA, December 2nd-December 12th.

The Boston Holiday Show is a true Bostonian experience consisting of 13 monologues by local playwrights that delve beyond Christmas, though you're sure to see more than one elf roaming around the theatre!

Conceived by Artistic Director Danielle Leeber, playwrights ; Melanie Garber, Sharon Hart, Elinor Teele, Maria ViVardo, Raj Sivaraman, Mikey DiLoreto, Richard White, Stephen Faria, Diana DiCostanzo, Andrea Clardy, Lauren Foster, Sean Clarke & Rick Park's monologues feature (and these are just a few), a beloved Hanukah-obsessed mother, a fancy and festive gay man, a drunken pregnant girl perhaps carrying the second coming of Christ and of course, a bitter elf.

Boston Actors Theater, established in 2004, focuses on original work by Boston playwrights, directors, and actors while also producing works by Mary Zimmerman, Nicky Silver, and Eric Bogosian.

Along with Leeber, directors include Happy Medium Theatre's Mikey DiLoreto, Boston Actors Theater's James Aitchison and Boston Opera Collabrative's Emelia Allen. Their cast features BAT Core Cast Members David Lucas & Paul Ezzy. Sierra Kagen (Longwood's As You Like It), Sydney Penny (Company One's After the Quake), and Bill Salem (Zeitgeist's Enron) lead a cast of 13 in this holiday show with a twist!

If that wasn't enough, Vinyl Street, a local A Cappella group will be interlaced between the monologues as well as giving a pre-show on selected dates. Vinyl Street is based in Porter Square their style encompasses pop, rock, country and sheer numbers. They have also opened for The Nutcracker at the Boston Opera House.
