The American Repertory Theater will present Clifford Odet's PARADISE LOST from February 27 - March 20, 2010.

This American drama voices the anger and hope of a family struggling to find solid ground in a sinking economy.

Written by one of the greatest 20th-century American playwrights, PARADISE LOST is a poetic, humane, and distinctly American drama that examines the impact of money and greed on family, business, and love. Visionary director Daniel Fish creates a bold, contemporary production of this powerful play.

"Fish is a director who sees things or, should I say, wants his audience to see things from a different angle," according to the Hartford Courant.

The cast will feature David Chandler, Sally Wingert, Hale Appleman, T. Ryder Smith, Therese Plaehn, Thomas Derrah, Merritt Janson, Jonathan Epstein, Adrianne Krstansky, Karl Bury, Michael Rudko,Cameron Oro, Remo Airaldi, and Anthony Gaskins.

The design team includes Andrew Lieberman (scenic design), Kaye Voyce (costume design), Scott Zielinski (lighting design), and Clive Goodwin (sound design).

Starting May 14, 2010 and running through June 27, the American Repertory Theater will present JOHNNY BASEBALL.

JOHNNY BASEBALL is an exhilarating blend of fact, fiction, and the mystical power of the game. It traces the origin of the Curse to a collision of three orphaned souls: Johnny O'Brien, a hard-luck right-hander on the 1919 Sox; his idol Babe Ruth; and Daisy Wyatt, a dazzling African American blues singer and the love of Johnny's life. These three lives contain both the reason for the Curse and the secret to its end off the bat of Big Papi in 2004.

JOHNNY BASEBALL packs a thoughtful commentary on American social history into a fun and spirited musical that will bring cheers and tears to baseball fans everywhere.
