Berkshire Theatre Group welcomes Start Making Sense: A Talking Heads Tribute at The Colonial Theatre on Saturday, November 17 at 8pm. Tickets are $25.
The musicians in this 7-piece Talking Heads tribute take pride in faithfully recreating the ground-breaking music of the Talking Heads, which includes over eight studio albums. They bring the Talking Heads live show, with front man Jon Braun as a spot-on David Byrne, to audiences for a rockin', funkin', danceable celebration of the new-wave art punk from the '80s!
Bernie Worrell, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member and keyboardist for Talking Heads and Parliament-Funkadelic said, "This is an appropriate title -- Start Making Sense. This band makes plenty of sense to me, and is a great representation of Talking Heads' music. So, listen up and go check them out!"
The band consists of: Jon Braun (Lead Vocals and Guitar), Jon Fadem (Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals), Ryan Berg (Percussion and Backing Vocals), Brad Murray (Keyboards), Michael Davidson (Bass), Jesse Braun (Drums), Jenny Founds (Backing Vocals) and Kathleen Weber (Backing Vocals)
Pre-show entertainment in The Garage (located in the lobby of The Colonial Theatre) will be available at 6:30pm. Refreshments and snacks will be available at the Garage bar.

The Colonial Theatre, founded in 1903, and Berkshire Theatre Festival, founded in 1928, are two of the oldest cultural organizations in the Berkshires. In 2010, under the leadership of Artistic Director and CEO Kate Maguire, the two organizations merged to form Berkshire Theatre Group (BTG). Berkshire Theatre Group's mission is to support wide ranging artistic exploration and acclaimed performances in theatre, dance, music and entertainment. Every year, BTG produces and presents performances to over 68,000 attendees and, through our Educational Program, serves over 13,000 Berkshire County schoolchildren annually. BTG's celebrated stages reflect the history of the American theatre; they represent a priceless cultural resource for the community.
